Today... The Word is "Redeem". The term redeem Comes from two words: re meaning "again" and deem meaning "to buy". We say it like this, to buy back or to recover. Peter reminds us we were not redeemed with gold or silver like with a slave or hostages, but with the precious blood of Christ Jesus (I Peter 1:19).
