God Uses a Fast for Repentance
You will never succeed in life if you try to hide your sins. Confess them and give them up; then God will show mercy to you. Proverbs 28:13 Repentance is the central them in the life of a Christian and it is the very foundation of fasting and prayer. As you begin to fast, God will open your eyes to areas of your life that require repentance. Ask God to bring these things to your awareness and when He does, confess them and seek forgiveness. Don’t Minimize Your Fast
Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 (NASB) Never underestimate the power or significance of your fast. Spending time in His presence instead of the table will touch our hearts and deepen our understanding of His grace
