Do You Know Who You Are?
Of all things, I was watching a Disney movie with my children the other day and there was a key part in the movie where Rafiki (The wise monkey) asked Simba if he knew who he really was. It seemed like a very simple question, but it caused the Lion to think on who he really was. Rafiki even went as far as to show him his reflection in the water. After some time, Simba saw a reflection of his father and learned who he really was, he was the son of the king. This is very true
A More Excellent Way
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love I am nothing. I’m one who is always striving, finding myself exhausted, having to take that pause. The Lord beckons us to come to Him with all of our cares. Mathew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” You want rest? You want to be refreshed? Jesus is calling. In His strength our weakness is covered, in His strength we are
