Worth...Being of value and having vital importance.

Look around where you are at and identify the most costly item in the area. Now, determine the worth of the object. Think about pro athletes and their worth. For example, Pistol Pete Maravich and being one of the greatest basketball players ever. He was the first basketball player to sign a million dollar contract. Was he worth it?

Nolan Ryan was the first baseball player guaranteed a million dollars or more with a four year contract for 4.5 million with the Houston Astro’s. There are different ways people determine the worth of others. Name a few:

Now, how does God see us and what are we worth?

• Created in God’s image- Genesis 1:27

• Fearfully and wonderfully made- Psalm 139:14

• Blood bought- Galatians 3:13-15, 1 Corinthians 6:20

• New Creation- 2 Corinthians 5:17

• Thinks about us always- Psalm 139:17-18

• More valuable than animals- Matthew 10:31

• Written our name in a special book and in heaven- Luke

• I am ambassador- 2 Corinthians 5:20

• We are made the righteousness of God- 2 Corinthians

5:21

• Joint heir with Jesus Christ- Titus 3:4-7

• Granted us all things that pertain to life and godliness- 2

Peter 1:3

• Plans for a great future- Jeremiah 29:11
