Waiting on God

I think the most important thing that all Christians must learn is this, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, AND YOU ARE NOT HIM!

We live in a fast food society, the I have to have it right now, the my way or the highway generation. It’s sad that this reflects the way many of us want God to work in our lives. I myself have said, Lord I need you to do this right now or This is what I would do! Notice the pattern, the problem here is me, I’m not God. I don’t know the future, I’m not all knowing, all powerful, the beginning and the end, no I’m just a man. But, I am His child, the one He loves. He know our needs and his timing is perfect. We must learn to wait.

WAIT: to remain or rest in expectation

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Romans 12:12

1. Happiness because you have hope 2. Wait on God, no matter the circumstances

3. Use your greatest weapon

PATIENT: enduring trying circumstances

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. Colossians 1:1

1. All power is the filling and the leading of the Holy Ghost.

2. His glorious might is his love for you and I.

What are the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

Love is patient and kind, love does not envy or boast, it is not arrogant. 1 Corinthians 13:4

With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.

Ephesians 4:2
