Oh What Peace
Perfect peace is not ever experiencing troubles and storms, but trusting that God has his hand on you and will walk with you.
Over the last couple of months I have had to grow in what perfect peace is. One tool that the devil has is fear. If he can get you to be afraid he has stolen your peace. He has stolen your
joy. He is an attack God will use for a tool to help mold you into a better expression of who he is. We are made in his likeness and image. God does not fear or ever get distracted by the devil. The same should be true for us as well. When the devil attacks God builds faith, trust, love, and peace. Faith in you knowing God in his timing will fight your battle. Trust in knowing that he is always with you. Love in knowing no matter how many times you give up "HE NEVER DOES." Perfect peace is found in someone that has been through many battles not someone who has never seen a battle. Because you know that All God had to do is speak one word and the earth was formed. Let that sink in! So many times we skip over that. God spoke and the earth formed. Jesus spoke and the storm stopped.
Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Hush, be still." And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And He said to them, "Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?"
Mark 4:38-40 NASB
Sometimes the storm happens to build our faith. Other times it is meant for us to hear "hush be still" and know that he is with us.
