Spiritual Hunger a Lifestyle

Something I've been really thankful for lately is our relationships with one another. I've been thinking about how we are all really pressing in for a move of God. How we have now moved to co- laboring with one another to change lives and go forth in our callings.

The thing ringing in my heart is that breakthrough isn't just a one-time event, it's a lifestyle. We take enemy territory, we, through the power of the Holy Spirit, breakdown strongholds, defy disease and calamity and we press on.

As marvelous as the understating of that is, it's also exhausting at times. We have the scripture Galatians 6:9, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. We have that to hold onto because we do grow weary, we do need encouragement, in the midst of awesome triumph we still need one another.

One of the things the Lord is speaking to me is to not linger between miracles. Never be too far off from the last thing He did. Constantly be moving for more, for new, don't live in a memory of an awesome deed live in the present of an always working God. Continue to know Him in this way.

So, I say all this to simply say that I cherish our church family. I am so thankful for the love we have for one another. The diversity of vision, of callings and purpose. That none of us are the same in what we are called to do but our heart is one beat in unison of increasing the kingdom.

I was reminded of the power of prayer at Pastor Shane and Tracy's house. I just left so encouraged as they stirred up my hunger once again. We need one another! Hearing my brothers and sisters cry out to God for their needs and the needs of others births a zeal in me. My love for them and the power of God manifest, burns in my spirit as I listen to them pour out in corporate prayer. Those words wake me up when I do not want to get up, they push me to call on the Lord when I, myself am weary at times, because their cries change me. They motivate me, they remind me of our purpose and our love for one another. What a precious gift it is to provoke the things of God in one another and carry each other's burdens. I'm so thankful for all of you.
