I'm Gonna Live Forever

The last few weeks have made me wonder why they call the latter years of life the golden years. Each day I wake up with new aches and pains. I have watched as the health of my mother, mother-in-law and father-in-law have deteriorated. My father-in-law became frustrated when they told him his heart was healthy, “just old”! Oh what (golden) moment that was. I have made a decision that for me I am just going to live forever. I know in whom I trust and God’s Word says, in John 3:15, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life. I know and understand that if the Lord tarries, someday my life on earth will end.

1 Corinthians 15:19 says, If in this life only we have hope in Christ we are of all men most miserable. But for God’s children there is no reason to be sad or fear death because we know there is a Heaven. A place where we are going if Christ is our Savior. A place where we are going to “live forever”.
