Jesus Said

Jesus said to her, “Mary!” John 10:16

One morning in my devotions I read where Jesus called to Mary by name. she recognized her Lord. As I thought about that, I put my name in there and read it out loud. Jesus said to her,

“Bonnie!” The sensation of His Spirit came over me and tears began to flow as I kept saying, “Jesus said to her, Bonnie!’”

What an awesome feeling it gave me to be that close to Jesus and hear Him call my name.

I have called you by name; you are mine! Isaiah 43:1
