God is For You

Proverbs 16 v. 3 "Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed."

I have discovered that God is for our success in life; He created us for a purpose and He wants us to succeed in that purpose. It is God, who will measure our success in this life, and no one else.

Truly understanding that God is for us can really change our perspective on life. Knowing God is on our side and not there to destroy us anytime we mess up is a really great way to live life. It means we don't need to be afraid of God, because he is for us. Yet I know people (I was one) that are so fearful of God that just talking about him makes them nervous. I believe we feel guilty, and we start thinking that if we get close to God he is going lecture us and remind us of all the things we have done wrong, and then we will feel even worse. That He wants to judge us and send us to hell.

Nothing could be further from the truth of God. Jesus said, "I did not come into the world to condemn it, but to save it."

If God is for us, who can be against us. I Challenge you today, to commit every worry, fear, dread, problem, or hurt to God and let him turn your mess into His success.
