Amazing: The Power of Prayer

1 John 5:14 & 15 says, And this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he ear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

No prayer request if too big or too small for Him. Each one is important to Him. Today I had what to me was a huge request, but to Him, I’m sure it was a tiny or simple one. As I was baking for our 5th Sunday dinner, it took a good 10 minutes longer than it should have. As I freed an egg for my breakfast, the flame on the burner was very small. Oh no, this is Friday and I’m out of propane! Huge problem!

I told the lady my predicament and she said she would try and get someone out today. I told her as she tried, I would pray and I did. I called my sis and she also prayed. Linda Shockley just happened to call and they agreed with me too. 10 minutes later, the lady at the gas company called and said we would have a deliver in the afternoon!

Out here in the country this doesn’t happen—ever! God even cares about the small things!! I spend a long while praising Him for His love and care for me again!!

God is Good!! All the time!!
