The Problem
We all experience problems or hardships, but today I wish to explain the problem in a different manner. Growing up the son of Pastor Tim Snider helped give me a different perspective. Anytime a problem would arise I can to this day hear his voice, “Son do not let the problem control you.” Most of the time it was doing just that, it had completely taken control. It looked like a mountain and it controlled me instead of me controlling it. Once you surrender to the problem it dictates your life, how you feel, where you go, and all of your emotions. I want to give a little nugget of wisdom that was passed to me by my father. A problem is nothing more than an opportunity, let that sink in because it will change your way of thinking. There would not be great miracles in the Bible without first there being great problems. When trials come we need to ask ourselves what can be learned. When we run to him with desperation and lean on him for strength. God comforts the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:18 We are going to experience hardships, but so did He. He sent his son to be the sacrifice for the sins of man. The problem was man fell into sin, God was separated from his creation. Sin leads to death, but it was an opportunity. God knew the problem and knew that only One who knew no sin would need to give His life so that we might live. No matter what, God is the solution to any problem.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 NASB
