Exposure

This week the Lord is and has been talking to me about what we are exposed to. Whether on purpose or by accident it has a huge impact on our lives and the lives of those around us. I am working on a message for the youth this week and I think God is wanting me to share it with you.

I believe that we are spirit, soul and body. That being said, what we see, hear and feel impacts us. Our spirit man is much like the negative film we use to put in cameras before technology advanced and now we have digital cameras. Even though we may not see the impact or feel different at that moment over time that film on the inside of us is being processed and will come out. The outcome could be good and it could be bad. It is much like someone who is exposed to radiation at high doses it can be deadly not at first but depending on the severity of the radiation the symptoms start to show up and then you progressively get worse until you are no more.

What are you being exposed to? What are you watching and what are you hearing? Even though you may think it’s not a big deal…..IT IS!

"The eye is the light of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness” Matthew 6:22-23

“Bad company corrupts good morals" 1 Corinthians 15:33

"I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes" Psalms 101:3

2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.”

Philippians 4:8 test, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

Pay Attention to what you are exposed to!

Have a great day!
