Spiritual Meal-Course#4: The Main Meal

Is your Spiritual appetite increasing as you are feasting on this Spiritual Meal? Examine, take the time to pay attention to whether your craving is being fulfilled by the “right” meal. Remember, Satan is one who can duplicate quite well. We can have 2 plates, filled with the exact same items of food. They may look the same and smell the same. The difference………...one is ORGANIC, PURE, NO PRESERVATIVES, NOTHING ARTIFICIAL ADDED, AND HOLY!!! How can we know the difference? Taste. Psalm 34:8 Oh, TASTE and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.

The Main Meal is “Getting into God’s Word Everyday”. I love this course! Talk about Supernatural leftovers! Are we tasting His Word every day? The scripture says we have to taste first, then we see that the Lord is good. Each time we taste the Spiritual Meal before us, it builds our faith. Faith is how our soul does the tasting! Our confidence (faith) in the Word of God, always finds Him good.

How do we know what we are tasting is reliable? 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (NASB)

Paul is reminding Timothy of the reliability and profitability of the Scriptures. They are as reliable as God is. He is the God of truth and He breathed out the scriptures! The Word of God is useful. Imaging if God saved us and then said, “Well, you are on your own. Look around you and maybe you will figure out how to get through life.” Thank you Lord for not leaving us alone! There is no problem in life that the Bible does not provide God’s wisdom that we can apply to every circumstance. Paul shows us the results of the usefulness of scripture and tasting it every day: The Word TEACHES, REPROOFS (EXPOSES SIN), CORRECTS, AND TRAINS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. We need to hear it, read it, study it, and meditate on God’s Word. Blessed is the man who taste and feasts with God every day!

Our final course, of this 5 course Spiritual Meal, is the Dessert……Have Your Church Family for Support. It is wonderful to know that all are invited to this Spiritual Meal with Christ. Not all except the invitation. Those who do, make amazing dinner guest!
