You Are God's Masterpiece

Growing up as the middle child many times my sisters teased me and told me I was the accident child. My older sister and I are only 13 months apart so, the not planned for child would be a more accurate statement. I liked to say I was a perfect surprise. It was a sisterly rivalry and poking fun. Unfortunately, many times we have the thought that we are the accident child. We question why we were even born. What is our purpose? I am here to encourage you and tell you that we are not a product of random choice or accident. You are God’s masterpiece and you were created for a purpose. If he knows the hairs on our head, we could not just be by accident. You were created in our mother’s womb. Walk in confidence that you were created for a purpose.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Psalm 139: 13-14
