God Will Never let us Go!

No matter how bad life gets, we can rest in one important truth: God won’t stop loving us!

We’ll have things go right. We’ll have things go wrong. But God’s love will never end, we can count on that. That truth should be one of the most important sources of joy in our life!

The Bible says it like this in Romans 8:38-39: “I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are — high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean — nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us.”

That’s good news. When we put our hand in God’s hand, he grabs it and won’t let go. God holds on to us with all he has.

We’ll have times in our life when we’ll want to let go of God’s hand. We’ll want to give up our commitment to Christ when times get tough.

But God won’t let go of us — ever. Once we put our hand in his, it’s there to stay.

If we could earn our salvation by working for it, we could lose it the moment we stopped working for it. But we didn’t earn our relationship with God. It was a free gift. Once it has been given, he will not take it back. Only we can walk away from it, He will not walk away from us.

That’s an unimaginable source of joy for the believer.

My Challenge for us today is to believe…..God will never let YOU go!
