Tomorrow is not Promised

As I walk through my house this afternoon, my heart was filled with joy and sadness. As I walked past a table, a pair of scissors lay out and it brought me to tears. When did this happen? How many times have I blinked? How much more have I missed? What I’m referring to is a pair of scissors brought me to tears because I realize my kids are grown.

No longer was the fear or worry of putting everything up picking up everything from the floor. He brought me back to the times with my kids the questions I had things I had missed and where we all have come to be. Years ago I was worn ragged and ready for my kids to grow. Now I’m wearing that time but I realize we aren’t where we were. We’re going forward. It all made me pause.

I challenge you all to cherish the now for tomorrow is not promised it’s a new day and you may blinking and it could be gone.

Proverbs 27:1

Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth.
