God is Calling

Over the past few years I have spent a great deal of time in the woods hunting turkeys. This time of year, one of the was to hunt turkeys is to listen to his calling. An ole’ tom turkey has an unmistakable sound called a gobble. To a hunter, it is sweet music.

God is calling to all of us in the same way. A call of love.

Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but to his own purpose and grace. 2 Timothy 1:9

Listening to God’s call was one of the greatest things I have ever done. Romans 8:28 says, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Listen to God’s call, he has a purpose for your life.
