Food for Thought

I'm not so sure I care for the phrase "God showed up and/or God showed out". Concerning "God showed up?" Isn't he ALWAYS with us? He said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you". Hebrews 13:5. True His presence may not always be felt due to many circumstances...disbelief, unforgiveness, etc. But that doesn't mean he has left us. Not according to His Word. "God showed out"? Whenever God supplies a huge need or desire, is he showing out or off or just being the God that he is? When God created the world, the Word says.."and he saw that it was good". According to our way of seeing things, Crossing the Red Sea, causing the blind to see, the lame to walk, birth of a baby and most of all our salvation is HUGE. Yet Genesis 1:31 says...Then God saw EVERYTHING that He had made, and indeed it was very good. From a tiny seed to a huge mountain. It was good. So, if we are using the phrase "God showed out", its every moment of every day...not just one time we think is special. No condemnation. Just food for thought.
