Today, When You Pray...

A woman named Lydia (which means kind or kindred spirit), from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple fabrics, a worshiper of God, was listening; and the Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul. Acts 16:14

My heart for you today is that you will take this portion of Scripture and use it for praying for others. And when you pray for lost or saved ones, you ask God to especially open the heart of the person.

Today try this!

  1. Pray for laborers or workers to be sent to the ones you are praying for: Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into the harvest. Matthew 9:38

  2. Pray and ask God to open the heart of the person you are praying for: Acts 16:14.

  3. Pray and use Psalm 125:2 for protection: As the mountains are round abut Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people.

  4. Pray with confidence and out loud! This is the confidence which we have before Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, (which is the word of God), He hears us. 1 John 5:14

Today, Pray with confidence!
