Storm Warning

In our modern society, we have the technology that warns us sometimes hours before a storm arrives. I have an app on my phone that tells me when to seek shelter. I’m sure this has saved many lives. No longer are we caught unprotected from the storm.

God says that He is our shelter and our refuge from the storms of life. When the wind begins to blow or the dark clouds begin to gather, RUN! Run to God. Hide under his arms as a hen would gather he chicks.

God’s Word says in Psalm 61 verses 1-4, Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle forever. I will trust in the cover of thy wings.

Don’t get caught in the storm. Ask God for his protection. The SON should always be shining in our hearts!
