The Weight Begotten
I was interceding on behalf of a sibling in the Lord, who is weighted down in acquiesced responsibility of managing deceased estates. While in prayer, impressions came upon my heart. I could actually detect and perceive the effect of this load/burdens causing a sinking/dimming even upon the countenance.
Now, we live with the hope of glory(believers that is), thou we know not (usually), when a test of true grit is to come and really have us bent down, and in worn knees postured. Imagine the fact that Jesus always knew His purpose , and the reality of the suffering He would assuredly endure, if obedient to end. ...when the hour was nearing, He began to show great grief, distress and depression. In Mathew 26:38 “Then He said to them, My soul is very sad and deeply grieved, so that I am almost dying of sorrow. So stay here and keep awake and keep watch with Me.” ... the literal weight of sin and death was upon Him; and yet, thou He asked for the possibility of this cup passing Him by, He said: ”Your will Father, and not mine.”
The Lord wastes no thing, He uses it for good... to show His faithfulness, His enduring love, to bring you UP, to show you His favor, to bring Him thanksgiving for your timely salvation, to grow you like an oak of righteousness! He means no harm to you ever. Who can contend or take on the mysteries of God? I for one, will meditate on the beauty of Your wisdom, Lord, on the strength of my inheritance in You, Your grip of me. Let no affliction debilitate or stifle your battle cry, your acclamation unto Him; even putting the Lord in remembrance of thee.(Isaiah 43:26)
Lord, I thank you for being near the afflicted and down trodden. You have lived knowing the literal meaning of pain in all it’s contents. You died and rose again for complete atonement of our sins. I pray on behalf of every distressed, and wretched soul; in You or lost, to feel the wind of the Spirit of God, and know that change and goodness is within reaching distance. You are two words away...HELP Jesus! This is the day that the Lord has made, and I halt and say Thank you! Thank you!, for You have proved me over and over, Amen.
Isaiah 44:3-4 For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour My Spirit upon your offspring, and My blessing upon your descendants. And they shall spring up among the grass like willows, or poplars by the watercourses.
