Reboot

“No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.”

—Luke 5:36-38 (NASB)

Restarting can seem like a daunting task but it happens. There are times in life we have to hit the reboot button. Be it a failed plan, relationship or even a poor choice on our part, the fact remains a new start is needed. Often we struggle to try to piece together something broken when God has something brand new available. He’s not asking for a patch job, He is saying come to me. He is the master Potter, He is the one who makes all things new and He is the restorer of that which is taken.

So instead of toiling away at a broken process bring it all to the Master. He will sort it out, He will repair and He will make new. The greatest peace will come when you release what you can’t fix to the one who can.

Deuteronomy 30:3 God, your God, will restore everything you lost; he'll have compassion on you; he'll come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered.
