Killing Your Gian (Part 1)

March 14, 2020

“Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord 's, and he will give you into our hand."”

1 Samuel 17:45-47 ESV

Your giant will try to beat you down and if you let it and it will control your life

1. Vision

This means focusing, David never took His eyes off of Goliath. You can’t stand in fear and just act like your giant is not there, but you must deal with it at once so that you do not become a slave.

Also, Vision is how you see yourself. When you see your Giant bigger than your God, it will keep you in fear. The devil will try to give you the illusion that your giant is your master. Know this through God all things are possible and whatever is coming against you, your God is bigger. And through Him you have the victory. All your giant has is size that which you can see but God works with what you can’t see.

So today let’s see ourselves how our Heavenly Father see’s us. Not lacking in ability but strong through Him.
