Masks

In our world today we all put on masks. Whether it be layers of clothing, makeup or hair gel. We change the way we look, we bejewel ourselves and we try to keep up with current trends. We often put on different faces to please others.

But truly, why are we? Jesus didn't conform to others, he stood out, he didn't worry what others thought, or felt about him. He was true to himself and stood with the Word of God. His character was reflected in the Father.

What is your reflection in the father? Are you putting on any masks? Are you trying to cover anything up? Or… are you talking openly and honestly? Are you walking in the light God put you in? What does your reflection look like? Do you like what you see? Do you see a need to change to be all that God has made you to be?
