Daily Peace in All Things (Part 2)

Daily Peace in All Things (Part 2)

  1. Peace comes from really trusting in His promises. Psalm 23:4 tells us David stayed peaceful even as he walked through the valley of the shadow of death. I have been on that same road myself and that valley with robbers and animals would really try to challenge your peace. Peace comes from trusting God’s promises.

Today, trust is an attitude and an action. Keep your focus on the Lord God, as Father God, knowing it is well with my soul. Your focus will determine your finish. My focus is knowing His promises of protection, security and care. Focusing on His Word will lead you away from fear into real faith.

  1. Peace comes when you and I pray. Daniel comes to mind when we think about peace in a dark situation. The great thing is Daniel developed a Spiritual discipline from a young ae of praying three times a day…every day of the week. When he was thrown into the lion’s den, he had a peace that passeth all understanding (Philippians 4:6-9) and knowing God was with him to shut the mouths of the lions. Daniel had a great relationship with God…my God is able.

We can have that same peace by worrying about nothing and praying about everything in our lives (Isaiah 26:3, James 4:8).

  • Daily spend time in His presence (Psalm 16:11)

  • Focus on God’s promises (Jeremiah 15:16)

  • Cast your care always on the Lord (1 Peter 5)
