Generosity of Heart
I have had the privilege of caring for my 87 yr old “MADRE/MOTHER” for the last couple of months; having driven to fetch her, and gotten back- God with me, God with us. She fell, got a fracture and endured a cast. Now cast free for 2 weeks, I have been “heading” the exercise sessions, in order to get mobility, strength and full use in her arm.
We have laughed and hollered and hooted, like transitioning to hard labour...with the goal in mind of a vastly divinely forged transformed and transfigured arm and wrist. In the process of this service unto the Lord, with love and no self-interest; LO and BEHOLD- I have received healing myself! The prayer deposit that has washed and covered my Beloved mother, so has returned with fullness and subtlety to loosen me!! ... the surrendered service for the love and hope of another, at the cost of time and commitment, will unmeasurably stack a mercy mount of grace, that the Lord will dispense at His pleasure, and will take your breath away. I have tasted and seen the bountiful well from which He pours AND satisfies! And this sojourn of late has shown and taught me the forceless pressure of grace divine. Selah!
Luke 6:37-38 TPT Jesus said, “Forsake the habit of criticizing and judging others, and then you will not be criticized and judged in return. Don’t look at others and pronounce them guilty, and you will not experience guilty accusations yourself. Forgive over and over. Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! Your measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of your return.”
