The word “culture” derives from a French term, which in turn derives from the Latin “colere”, which means to tend to the earth and grow, or cultivation and nurture.
Good habits of hygiene is being bombarded from the Media to the seeing and hearing public. Fine; you want to be cautious and not careless. Now, the Word of God tells us not to fret or worry. We can do our part in the natural, but I am learning daily, even hourly, that praying at all times, for all things, and all kinds of people, is cultivating an expectancy of unknown benediction and protection, that penetrates and nurtures and safeguards my well being and cared for temple, and those of my lineage. Healthcare is for a people, for the maintenance of their health. So the health of the saints; not unlike sailors, has to do with proper diet, hygiene and MORAL!
You could be a nice looking person, but be depressed, morose and unhappy. You could also be plain, but joyous, hopeful and unperturbed. We get to choose AND believe the better or worse of scenarios; however, God has given us a spirit of power love and soundness of mind! Culture has to do with the customs and pursuits of a people. As saints, in Christ (the Lord and His anointing!) we have eternity with Him, and a future and hope with callings and giftings to you(unique!). And the promise of Him all in all. ...His culture you display! Yes?
1 Tim.2;1-4 TPT Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. It is pleasing to our Saviour-God to pray for them. He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.
