No One But You

As I was in prayer this morning, I was caught up in worship. I kept saying, “No One But You.’’ This has been the cry of my heart. He is the King of My heart, and nobody can take that away. No trial or situation, for I have decided as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. I cherish all that He has blessed me with and with that I choose to be eternally grateful.

As we are coming back from this time of confusion caused by covid19. I am reflecting on what I have learned. One thing I learned is I was too busy, Lol! I have been able to scale back to what is important. I was not spending enough time giving thanks for all that I have been blessed with. I gave thanks in passing, it was coming from routine. It was not personal, not coming from my heart. So, it took me slowing down to notice that, my thanks were not what it should be. Since I changed my prayer, I have changed. I have come to a place where nothing else matters. My life has changed because my giving thanks has changed. I am here to give praise, the essence of my existence is to give Him praise. I am to praise nothing else in my life, No One But You.

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2 NLT
