Who You Say I Am

I have a burden on my heart for those that do not know Jesus and His wonderful grace. I know we all have those in our lives and even those in our families that we can all think of who need Jesus. So, with that I would like our focus to be on them. For God’s heart is that all would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

There are going to be times where you can minister to them. Knowing that you can’t do the work for them, because they have to be the ones to invite Him in. The work is not only done when you are talking with them but in your time of prayer. The verse below spoke volumes to me when Jesus told us that we have been given the keys to the kingdom. Strongholds will try to hold the person in bondage and keep them from wanting to move out of that into freedom. But this is how we pray, we bind it and we loose them from their bondage and let Jesus move in and free them. Because I say that He is the Christ The Son of The Living God.

“Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" And they said, "Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in Heaven. I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."”

Matthew 16:13-19 NASB
