Lost Our Burden

Read Acts 9

But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my CHOSEN INSTRUMENT to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” Acts 9:15-16

Ananias was directed to go and restore the sight. He not only restored Saul’s sight but restored Saul as a person. Has God put someone on your heart, but you are too afraid to go and restore the person because they are scary, smelly, or you do not want your reputation altered? What if you are their Ananias? Are you going to risk their eternity because of your pride? We have become complacent because of pride and lost our burdens for the lost. We have allowed the world to tell us who is worth saving and who is a waste of time. We must have a burden for all who are lost and fight for them and their salvation. Please do not lose your burden for the lost because you are scared because we have power in the Holy Spirit.

God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

We have the same power in us as Ananias. We have to trust and believe that God will provide and protect us. We must use wisdom in all circumstances and let the Holy Spirit lead us. The Holy Spirit has given us power, and we are to use the power to be witnesses. Do not be why one of God’s CHOSEN INSTRUMENTS remains lost and in darkness but bring them The Light.
