Mind Games
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”

Guard your heart and your mind. Your victory or defeat are both related to these two things, your mind is the steering wheel to your heart. Your heart feels what your mind is thinking. When you feel hurt, your mind thinks hurt and your heart feels the hurt. When somebody hurts me it is only natural, in my flesh, to think hurt then to feel hurt. Jesus in his kingdom thinking, not only forgave them before hurt, He had so much compassion he asked the Lord to forgive them. He saw through what they were saying and saw their hurt behind their words. The age old saying hurting people hurt people. What a true statement that is, they have had hurt and dwelt on the hurt until it has turned to bitterness. I Have a tendency to get wrapped up in my thoughts and dwell on them. I have had to, and will continue to release all thoughts that hold my mind captive, because my mind steers my heart. My heart belongs to Jesus, and I am to keep my heart pure and always in a place that He can speak to it. I am to think of what is true, what is noble, what is right, what is pure, what is lovely, what is admirable and if anything is excellent and praiseworthy I am to think of these things. If I do these things the direct reaction will be, The God of peace will be with me. I don’t know why God keeps speaking peace to me, but He keeps speaking peace.
My prayer
God give me a compassion for your people, hearing their words of hurt. Let me see the hurt of their heart and be able to speak into their lives. Give me your words of peace and the words of healing.
