911 Dispatch

Is God just your 911 dispatch? Or Do you walk in a relationship with him daily?

What gets in our way and puts a barrier/separates us from a relationship with God?

  • If and when God is no longer a priority the enemy starts to win and starts to impact our mind/thinking. The enemy will do anything to separate us from our Heavenly Father so that we no longer see God for who he really is in our life.

  • Matt 16:26:  For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

God is more than a 911 dispatch, don’t get me wrong he is a help in times of trouble but more than that he is:

  • He is our friend

    • John 15:15: No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.

  • He is unchanging

    • James 1:17: Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

  • He is a promise Keeper

    • 2 Peter 3:9:  The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

  • He is our safety

    • 2 Samuel 22:32-32: “For who is God, besides the Lord? And who is a rock, besides our God?

  • He is our #1 source of love

    • Romans 5:8; 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us

    • Ephesians 2:4: 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

What are you needing to give up so that you can walk in a relationship with God without distractions?
