Meaning of disciple-a learner, a pupil, a student, a follower of Jesus Christ who is willing to learn the Bible scriptures and the lifestyle to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

Do I know that God is my creator?

Do I know that when I was born, I was a sinner, a person without God?

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let Us make man in our image, after our likeness.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

What are some characteristics of a disciple?

1. I passionately love Jesus…Mark 12:29-31

2. I want to please God always…John 8:29

3. I want to be a good example, daily…

4. I am not ashamed to be a follower of Jesus…Romans 1:16

5. I want always to be a godly witness for Jesus…Acts 1:8

6. I want to take up my cross…my stand for Jesus always…Luke 9:23

7. I want to honor my parents always…Ephesians 6:2

8. Must be teachable…John 14:26

9. Must bear fruit…John 15:8

10. Be willing to continue in God’s word…John 8:31

11. Be a person whose life is characterized by love…John 13:35, I Cor. 13

12. Be willing to suffer ridicule…Matthew 10:24-25

13. Be willing to forsake earthly ties…Luke 14:26

14. Be willing to lay down your life in following Jesus…Luke 14:26

You can change your image but only God can change your nature…LET GOD
