Forgiveness

Forgiveness is the biggest lesson I have learned. As a fairly new Christian, it has taken me a few years to truly forgive (and ask for forgiveness) the ones that I have hurt and the ones that have hurt me mentally, physically and emotionally. No for their sake but for me.

I have learned I was giving the enemy the authority to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) my happiness and joy. I have learned that I need to forgive them and myself as Christ forgave me for all my sins and transgressions. I can imitate God’s Holiness in all I do and say. Whether it is behind closed doors or in front of people. I can pray and love on them with a truly grateful heart. “Love thy neighbor as thy self.” I never really understood this until my walk with Jesus began.

Thank you, Lord, for loving me even when I couldn’t love myself.

God Bless,

A Restored Family

Before following the Lord, I was not a good mother. I was angry, resentful and had other priorities and other issues I had to work through, like my addiction, and my child suffered. Since giving my life to Jesus I have become a better person, a better friend and a woman I can look in the mirror and see and like.

My kids can look up to me. I know they are always watching me. Even though I still have a long way to go I plan on being the generation changer for my family. God has taught me grace, humility, and dedication to a life of joy ad happiness and love. I have more patience than I ever thought I would. I lost my children, but God restored my family and I love them more fully. Being a mother is my favorite blessing the Lord has given me, and I pray I can continue to improve and raise them to be wonderful humans.
