Give Thanks...For God's Unfailing Love

Daily, I give thanks to God for His love toward me and my family. I look no other place but up knowing God cares about every little detail of our lives. Remembering back as a new believer, one of the earliest verses I remember studying and memorizing…

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you or forsake you.

Hebrews 13:5 echoes the same sentiment, putting an extra emphasis on what not to have confidence in. “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” These two verses are as a totem pole in my life marking His constant presence and unfailing love as I continue this daily adventure with God. I can’t look to any other but God…from even before I became a follower of Jesus to this present day…it’s only God that makes and marks my day.

Today, go back to the well of remembrance and see how He has never failed you…His way is perfect. Take time and make a list of all the times He has been there in your choices and decisions.

…for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and work for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13
