God Never Changes

God spoke to me a few months before the election of November 2020 that everything would change, and everything did. We are in unprecedented times. Our world is changing every day. But God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 KJV

As the world is in turmoil around us we can stand upon the rock. He is our fortress. “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust….” Psalm 91:2 KJV

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 KJV

Times may change, people may change, the government may change but as we draw close to the Lord, we can be at peace in the midst of it all. We may get up on morning and everything will be turned upside down. We will not recognize the world we once knew. But the Lord will be right there by our side.

The Lord wants to use a vessel He can fully trust and who will trust Him. I want to abide in that secret place of the Most High. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1 KJV

Can you imagine abiding under His shadow and being covered and comforted under His wings? That is His secret place of fellowship and communion with us. Psalm 91:1 is our 911 call to the Lord for our protection from disease, terror, powers of darkness, fear and oppression. It is the place of revelation where we commune with Him and have that sweet fellowship.

He will never fail us. His faithfulness will be our protecting shield. He will always be ready to answer our call as we reach out to Him. “He shall call upon Me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” Psalm 91:15 KJV
