God Uses a Fast to Make You a Conqueror
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37 (NASB)
Everybody has problems. The only ones who don’t have already made heaven. More often than not, we try to solve our problems with our own power. That’s the reason you are tired all the time! The weight of the world is like being held down under a pillow. You will suffocate if you stay underneath. But the above scripture tells us we not only conquer but we “overwhelmingly” conquer. Not by anything we do but by God’s love and grace. I read a daily devotion one time that said, to be more than a conqueror means to win a battle without having to fight. Jesus fights on your behalf.
God will use this fast to change how you see yourself. You are not someone who struggles along being battered each day with a load of problems. You are a champion! You will win the fight against the devil and His lies will be exposed. The words “more than” come from the Greek word huper. It means above and beyond, superior to or more than a match for. These are the kind of conquerors we are in Jesus Christ. We surpass all foes. We are superior to the enemy. We are an overwhelming champion in Christ.
Let God change how you look at yourself. Stand on His Word and see yourself as He sees you.
Conqueror Extordinare!
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. 1 John 5:4 (NASB)
