Have I Confessed My Sin and Received God's Forgiveness

Ephesians 4:32 (Amp) Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you.

Sometimes, when I'm praising the Lord for His goodness, and declaring all that He is, I pray a “just in case” prayer if I had done or said – judged unfairly - been harsh or curt - had malice in my heart or mind – knowingly or unknowingly! I ask that the Lord forgive me. We are accountable for idle words, and more importantly - we don't know the whole story often to a “bad” moment or encounter. I am made aware of God's great love for me because at my most wretched hour, the quality and quantity of His great love and appreciation of me is too immense and marvelous and beyond description! The Lord wants even more than you know ‘the fullness of expression of his indorsement to you.’

Sin is an inhibitor and separator to things of divine perceptions and spiritual insights - which are needed for the battles we wage in the heavenlies. Lord, I need and want every tool and gift for my arsenal - to help me prevail and remain until my time is up and You call me home. Forgive me a new when I fail You by bad choices or ignorance. I need and want You ever so close. Receive my heartfelt contrition and help me daily to repent for my sins and receive Your forgiveness.

Lord, you have shown me mercy and forgiven my sins against You. You have given me the grace to show mercy to others, I receive Your grace through Your forgiveness to show mercy as You have shown me mercy. I thank God for enabling me to confess of my sins and receive His forgiveness – I am set free!
