He Will Empower You

Ephesians 4:16 And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.

This verse is a promise I can rest on when I am feeling weak. Scripture tells us that in our weakness He is our strength. It also states that it isn’t by our own strength that we accomplish anything but by HIS Spirit. When we read through the book of Acts we are promised power through the gift of the precious Holy Spirit, Jesus has not left us as orphans in this world, but rather as more than conquerors through Him! All we have to do is ask our Heavenly Father to show us what is available.

Friends the cross made the provision for all the strength you need to stand in the midst of trial. Not a weak survivalist reality but as this chapter says “explosive power”. We see words like “more than a conqueror” describing a spilling over of empowering presence available for God’s kids. It is there, but do we see it? Do we know we can have it? Ask for it today! Don’t struggle when Jesus has paid the price for our victory with his shed blood on Calvary. You don’t have to be overwhelmed in a struggle, you just have to receive power. The Holy Spirit is able and willing. Get in His presence and you’ll receive the power promised.
