Honor: Integrity in Beliefs and Actions

Integrity- 1. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles, moral uprightness 2. the state of being whole and undivided

Peter 3:16 having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.

Colossians 3:23 whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not men

2 Corinthians 8:21 for we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord’s sight but also in the sight of man.

Doing anything, and all, to an audience of One, is a choice of living out a trust of the One True God—who has captured our heart and convinced our being, of his higher and excellent ways. The anchored heart and sound mind, that “moves” on a “rhema” word (revealed/ illumed) led in a direction trustingly and undeterred. Living out this surety, displays a knowledge of Whom we believe, love, represent and covenant with. Confidence is reassuring and ”captivating”!; a peculiar ilk among the masses, and that we endeavor to remain and live in because of Who is for us indeed. He is the same yesterday, today and forever, and His Word changes not.

Jeremiah 1:12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” As you hear from Him, and go and do uprightly, for it please and delights the Lord…you”ll have favor in His sight, and with men; such is a gift of the whole, sound and wholesome!
