Immovable

“And it came to pass after these things that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard which was in Jezreel, next to the palace of Ahab King of Samaria. So Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, “Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a vegetable garden, because it is near, next to my house; and for it I will give you a vineyard better than it. Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money.” But Naboth said to Ahab, “The LORD forbid that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!””

I Kings 21:1-3 NKJV

This is a very important vineyard, this had been handed down for six generations. And had been fought for to get. This vineyard was the section that Caleb had been given when they fought their way into the promise land. There were giants that had to be fought, ground that had been worked for 6 generations and something worth fighting for and Ahab knew of the value and wanted it.

The enemy will always want the thing that has the most importance and value to you. I hold fast to what has been handed down to me. The gift of salvation, it is something that I work daily, but something that keeps me filled with hope. I pull the weeds, water the vines, and keep a watchful eye protecting it. And no matter the price or offer never give it up.

I remain immovable.
