Intentional Trust
I have been pursuing intentional trust and confidence in the Lord. I’ve had no compulsions to strive force, help even the process of “outcomes”. I have rested in the confidence of God being for me. Too often you can be flooded with thoughts, concerns, doubts, that are external/suppositions. As a believer and follower of Christ, we grow in trust (in faith) about who He is to us and His care of us. We come to trust Him and His Word as TRUTH, true north. Entering this rest and remaining there has really brought an uncommon quieting and settle-ness agreeable to the uttermost. The enemy of our soul is after agitation/displacement/knee jerk reactions! But the Lord’s way is peaceable/wholesome/loving/auspicious/of good report! Walking in contentment as His Beloved and Favored changes even the illumination of your countenance, as fruit of your growing knowledge, confidence and “know so” of Him, the Lord Almighty. … let nothing high or low, usurp the truth you have come to know AND understand about the One, God the Lord, who contends for you with everlasting love.
Psalm 93:13 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Psalm 94:12-14 Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord
And teach out of Your law
That you may give him rest from the days of adversity
Until the pit is dug for the wicked.
For the Lord will not cast off His people,
Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
In the multitude of my anxieties within me,
Your comforts delight my soul.
