Jesus is Alive

I don’t know about you, but just the sentence, “Jesus is Alive” makes me want to shout with praise! While the world tries to have other gods, there is only ONE God and that’s our RISEN Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! He lovingly died, took a horrific beating and died on the cross for ALL of our sicknesses and sins, but he did NOT remain dead. He is alive and He is the supreme authority in the world today. Philippians 2:10 says, ...“so that every knee will bow, of those who are in Heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”

While it’s certainly worth shouting about Him being alive, let’s make sure that He’s also alive in our own lives. In order for us to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16) of this dark, sin filled world, we better be sure Jesus Christ is alive in us. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to be our help to fight against the enemy and to be a powerful witness to the world. We must have the Holy Spirit alive and active in us to be effective today. Press in to His word and His incredible presence today so we can help others be Alive in Christ.
