Let Your Light Shine

We have all heard the old children’s song “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine”. But, how often do we really let that light shine, and do we fully understand the light that we are dealing with?
We are talking about an eternal light that shines forth from us to let the world see the love and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in Matthew 5:16 that we are to let our light shine to others so they can see the glory of our Father in Heaven. That is a pretty tall order if we step back and think about it. The only testimony to some people that we may have is the way that we live our life. As Christians, we are watched daily by so many people in this world that want us to fail and call us hypocrites.
I ask you today, are you walking along beside God daily so that your life and your decisions are directed and approved by Him? We should have daily conversations with Him like we would our best friend, or really close family members. When we start living in such a way, our internal light of Jesus shines out from us for the whole world to see, our lives become a living testimony. Let Your Light Shine Today!
Be Blessed,
Pastor Brandon
