Live in Absolute Truth
In the world today it is hard at times to differentiate between absolute truth and situational truth. We are a nation that is infiltrated with media. Many times we are lead to believe things due to situational truth. We want absolute truth as long as it does not apply to ourselves or someone we love.
An example of situational truth is, it is not okay to bully and be mean to someone in person BUT it is okay to get on social media and air out someone’s dirty laundry. As a society we have a skewed vision of what is actual truth because if you turn on CNN you hear one “truth”, Fox another “truth”, and the Today show another “truth” but if we get down to the roots of the story many times it is situational truth to meet the perception of their viewers.
I caution you to be careful what you are fixing your eyes on and make sure you are not being swayed away from the absolute truths found in the Bible. We need the absolute truth and stop living by situation truth.
John 8:31-32 says, So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed him, “If you continue in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth and the truth will make you free”.
I encourage you to start in the Word daily and start living in absolute truth.
