Love That Comforts

Everyone knows John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son.” He gave us Jesus. 2ndCorinthians 1:4 says, “Our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of compassion and the God of all comfort.” He says we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. Jesus said we are to love one another as he loved us. He loves and comforts us so that we can feel that love and give comfort to others.

Love has many forms. It can be a soft word or helping hand. Sometimes, it is comforting just to have someone at your side in a time of trouble. Be that someone. I know you can! Be a comfort because Christians have a heart full of love!
