Mind over matter—a term used to describe a situation in which someone is able to control a physical condition or problem (definition according to Merriam-Webster).

I used to think your mind and your brain were the same thing but they’re not. Your brain is a storage area for everything you‘ve done or seen or have been taught, all the information from your life. Your mind is what goes up and down the aisles of your brain to find info for you to think about. It does this according to whatever you give authority to. In other words, if you give authority to having fun and parties, that is what your mind is going to feed you. If you give authority to the news, social media and what’s going on in the world, your mind will be feeding your fear, anger and probably things you would like to do this one and that one. If you give authority to a walk with God and I don’t mean just on Sunday morning, but 7 days a week, you’ll find that you have fun and enjoyment. You’ll probably even smile a lot. You’ll also find that there’s nothing going on in this world that God doesn’t have control of and if you really want to know about current events—just read the Bible.

What I’m getting at is the rest of this day and week and future give authority to your walk with God for He is already fighting your battles.

Smile and enjoy your God-give day.

Stixx
