No Not Today

No not today!  That has become my words for the devil.  There have been days he has brought me sorrow.  There have been days he has made me sad and blue.  Lots of days when I can’t seem to find my way, but not more.  No NOT Today.  I am tired of being pushed around by Satan.  God has given us authority over him.  He doesn’t get to decide how our day is going to be.  I have a good friend who asked me a question a few days ago, what do I do about all these storms I am going through?  The first thing that popped into my head was call on the man who calms all the storms. 

There used to be a silly movie called Ghost Busters.  When. You had something going on in your life they said, “Who you gonna call?”  I can tell you who to call and his name is Jesus.  He is a sin killing, devil chasing’, storm kicking, problem solving God!  There is no reason to be walking around in fear.  There is no reason to worry about tomorrow.  He holds the future.  Tell Satan, “NO NOT TODAY!”  In the Name of Jesus, get out of my way.  I know where I am headed, and you can’t stop me.  If you don’t move, I am going to step on your head.  That’s what the Bible told me to do. 

The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.  Matthew 22:44

If he did it for David, he will do it for me and you!  NO NOT TODAY!
