Pistes-Faith, Faithfulness

4102 Strong’s Concordance

pistis definition-faith, faithfulness

usage-faith, believe, trust, confidence, fidelity, faithfulness

When the “providentially divine” moment of coming to Jesus occurs, the manifestation of God’s indued faith precipitates the action of: “believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord”. My experience of believers who recount their conversion/born again experience, is one of being deeply touched/moved to tears, and a want (drawing near to) for God and His goodness. It is His faithfulness and constancy that firms up and strengthens us, as His Beloved and commissioned ones! Not in our own strength, volition and willpower, but in the “divine confidence” of the truth of I AM- Jesus and His anointing, the Word made flesh. I am living out the expression of His love in my midst, in simple things like love abounding, hospitality, agreeability, generosity, gratefulness, openness, flexibility, appreciation. I’ve heard more than once that “grace puts zero pressure”, … not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6)

I am confidently delighting in the Lord, as He is giving us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4)… in the power of praise thanksgiving and His Pistis! Selah
